Southern Illinois Raceway is pleased to announce the title
sponsor for the 3rd running of the Highbanks Hustle. Engler Machine and Tool
located in Princeton, IN has stepped up in a big way to help us make the 3rd
Highbanks Hustle the best one yet! Tim and Tammy Engler have been huge
supporters of SIR for the last 3 years and SIR could not be more thrilled to
work with them in an even bigger way this year.
Engler Machine and Tool was started in 1980 by Tim Engler,
his main line of business at the time was plastic injection molds. Over the
years he has diversified widely, leaning towards "high performance
products". He now makes fuel injection systems, custom made pulling
chassis, gears, shafts, custom made CNC products, racing engines, and some custom
machining. In the last few years Tim designed a mechanical fuel injection
system for micro sprints. Even more recently, Tim also developed an electronic
version of his already popular mechanical fuel injection system, giving racers
a choice based on their preference. Whether it be by way of mechanical or
electronic fuel injection, the name Engler has become synonymous with
horsepower and torque in the micro sprint community! In fact, Engler Machine
and Tool house driver Cale Thomas took home the win in the inaugural running of
the Highbanks Hustle in 2013. Last year Engler had very well know customer
Frank Flud win the preliminary night and take a close second to Jake Hagopian
in the 2nd edition of the Hustle.
