1ST ANNUAL WILLIAMS AUTO BODY GAGE BESING MEMORIAL PRESENTED BY RIX ENTERPRISE PURSE ANNOUNCED

On July 18th the biggest Jr. Sprint race to ever hit the Highbanks of SIR will take place. The 1st Annual Williams Auto Body Gage Besing Memorial will boast the highest Jr. Sprint purse that SIR has ever seen in its 26 year history! Paying $750 to win and $50 to start, as well as boasting a total purse of $3,200, we hope to bring in Jr. Sprint racers from across different areas of the country to honor a great young man's life.

Gage Besing passed away on December 26th, 2014 from complications of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, a form of pediatric cancer. Before his passing, SIR had Gage down to the race track, and with the help of our racers and fans, showed him a VIP racing experience. Our very own Jason Rix made him a special trophy themed like his favorite super hero, Captain America. Additionally, our racers went to the infield and took a picture with him. Thanks to Shane Duty with CRC Motorsports and Jason Rix of Rix Brothers Racing, the ideas sparked to turn our Jr. Sprint special this year into the Gage Besing Memorial. This event will be a ton of fun for our Jr. Sprint racers in addition to supporting the great cause of pediatric cancer research!

We will be having a full night of weekly points racing with all 6 other classes at SIR with regular payouts. The A & W Plumbing Jr. Sprint payout will look like this:
1st - $750
2nd - $375
3rd - $250
4th - $225
5th - $200
6th - $175
7th - $150
8th - $125
9th - $100
10th - $90
11th - $80
12th - $70
13th - $60
14th-24th - $50

In addition to the payout above Jason Rix of Rix Enterprises will be making trophies for the top 3 finishers in the race! The format for Jr. Sprints on this night will follow our normal Saturday night format.
- Pill draw to run heat races
- Passing points will be given for heat race finishes
- The top 6 in passing points will run a dash setting the top 3 rows
- 7-18 will be set by passing points
- 19th on back in passing points will be put into B-Mains with the best 6 finishers finishing out the field
- The top 24 will then run the 20 lap Williams Auto Body Gage Besing Memorial

SIR could not put on a race of this magnitude without the help of our sponsors for the event. These include: Williams Auto Body, Rix Enterprise, Lightning Wings, Tony Lawrence, Terry Moulton, and Mike McSparrin! We would also like to thank Shane Duty and CRC Motorsports for their help with the event as well. If anyone else is interested in sponsoring this event please contact the Facebook page, Jake Palmisano, or Kurt Hermann.

We hope everyone can join us on this night to honor the memory of Gage Besing! We have more in the works for this night so be watching the Facebook page for updates and use the hash tag #‎GBM15 when talking about the race to help spread the word!

Were gonna have a little fun this weekend in honor of Mr Gage Besing! We all know he was a huge superhero guy and loved Captain America, so, we're going to have a little costume party!

Any child that dresses up this weekend as a superhero, will receive a dollar off admission. Also, we're going to have a bag decorating station and at intermission, we're going to get those little guys and gals involved and let them show their bags off by going through the crowd and gathering donations for St Jude's in honor of Gage.

In addition, $1 off of every adult admission will be donated to St Jude's in Gage's name!
Let's have a party this weekend and remember that great kid named Gage!!!
