Are you prepared for the first night of racing?

Here are a few more tips, reminders, and announcements for you!!

1)  Drivers and owners, payouts are planned to occur at the end of the night of racing.  HOWEVER, please be advised that the payouts will be in check format this year.  The check will be written out to either the owner or driver, depending on how the driver profile form was filled out.  The person on the check is the person that will receive the 1099 for tax purposes.  Please be sure this information is correct when you turn in your driver profile form.  These forms MUST be turned in at the beginning of the night if you wish to be paid!!  To speed up the sign-in process, please have your membership/profile form filled out as well as your HBH registration!

2)  If you wish to be contender for the points chase – including in the BOSS Chassis winged outlaw class, your points (or races counted for eligibility for the Chase for the Chassis) will not begin accruing until you have paid your club membership fee for the year.  DO NOT MARK club membership or membership and profile until you pay your $20 membership fee on your profile membership form (aka IOUs are not acceptable).

3)  SIR is excited to announce the addition of a new class.  The Senior winged outlaw class will consist of drivers over the age of 50 running in a winged outlaw car following the winged outlaw rules.  The club clarified a rule tonight that if a either a driver or a car are entered in the Senior class, then both that driver AND that car are not allowed to be entered into any other micro class on the same night.  Driver fee will remain $35 with $5 going to an end of the season point fund and $5 for track fees.  Weekly payouts for this class will be 60% to 1st, 30% to 2nd and 10% to 3rd of the remaining money collected for this class.  Watch for changes to the pay scale as this class grows in the coming months!

4)  Club meetings for June –October have been changed from the first Friday at 7 to the first Saturday of the month at 3.  The one exception will be the weekend of the Sprague memorial which will be changed to the second Saturday of the month.

5)  All children age 12 and under will receive free grandstand admission on Kid’s Night 5/10/14.

6)  Restrictor cars will race for a guaranteed $500 to win on 6/7/14.
